Also- I just cannot believe that some of the reviews here are praising this so highly. It COULD have been great, as the recent SW books have shown in the short form fiction (From a Certain Point of View series and the SW Tales series) but these just fell pretty flat. This was just not all that interesting to watch and I had a really hard time caring about any of the characters. I love animated anthologies that showcase a variety of styles, but I have seen far more heart present in fan-made projects over the years.
I really wanted to like this much more than I did. But you can't just slap those "things" together and expect it to bring the same Star Wars feels. As it is, this feels like the studios were given free rein to do whatever they want, as long as it had lightsabers, Jedi, blasters, ships and droids in it. It doesn't have to be John Williams score, as Mandalorian and the SW tv series have proved- just something in keeping with that which ties the world together.
You hear a lot of people saying that these don't really feel like SW and I think a part of that reason is that there is an absence of thematic music present.
